About Us

On September 28, 2008, Michael and Danielle Hathaway launched New Generation International Ministries with a clear mission: to build and restore individuals from all walks of life by connecting them to Christ.

In its early years, the ministry focused on reconciliation through community outreach—hosting homeless feedings, prayer gatherings, clothing drives, Easter egg hunts, and partnerships such as with the RVA Restoration Rights Program.

As the congregation grew, Michael and Danielle felt led to expand their vision to better serve families in Richmond and the surrounding counties. In 2014, they established New Generation Community Outreach Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to being a family resource hub for the local community.

In 2017, the ministry rebranded as New Generation Church RVA. That same year, they launched New Generation Learning Academy, a childcare center serving children ages 2½ to 12.

Responding to continued growth, the church expanded again in 2020 by launching its second campus: New Generation Church Hopewell.

Today, New Generation Church remains committed to its founding mission and continues to thrive, staying faithful to its core values of restoration, outreach, and community transformation.

Apostle Mike and Prophetess Danielle Hathaway are the visionary leaders of New Generation Church RVA and New Generation Church Hopewell, where they have faithfully served as senior pastors for over 15 years. Married for 23 years and proud parents of six wonderful children—Mike, Malcolm, Erika, Emmanuel, Diana, and Malachi—they lead with integrity, compassion, and a shared commitment to building God’s Kingdom.

Together, they have dedicated their lives to empowering individuals and families through spiritual, social, and economic development. Their ministry reaches far beyond the pulpit, bridging faith and community through outreach, education, and entrepreneurship.

Apostle Mike is a dynamic speaker, pastor, and entrepreneur known for his ability to teach both biblical truths and practical life principles. With a passion for legacy-building and marketplace ministry, he has successfully led Kingdom Kars Auto Sales for 8 years and continues to inspire thousands through financial literacy and faith-based leadership.

Prophetess Danielle is a creative force in both ministry and the marketplace. A dedicated mentor to women and advocate for families, she creates opportunities for healing, growth, and purpose-driven living. She is especially passionate about the development and well-being of children and enjoys producing content and resources that foster fun, safe, and nurturing environments at home.

With hearts devoted to restoration, outreach, and transformation, Apostle Mike and Prophetess Danielle continue to lead New Generation Church with excellence—empowering people from all walks of life to live fully in Christ.
